Year 3 Orchestra Unwrapped Project with Leicester Philharmonia: May 2015

Leicester Philharmonia Orchestra Unwrapped is a major education initiative led by the Philharmonia Orchestra for Leicester and Basingstoke schoolchildren. Thousands of children aged 7-11 are given the opportunity to hear a symphony orchestra and learn more about classical music in an engaging, entertaining and age-appropriate performance.

Start asking Year 3 about Recycling and our Environment and they may just start singing and clapping out rhythms to you! Don't be surprised, they are just preparing for their performance at Leicester De Montfort Hall in May.

 

Following on from last year's successful 'Orchestra Unwrapped' project Year 3 children are about to embark on an exciting journey led by the amazing conductor, Paul Rissman.
