Our class teacher is Mrs Dennison.

Teaching support staff:

Mrs Kaur and Miss Cosgrove

Hello and welcome to another exciting year of learning. I am looking forward to working with you all again this year and all facing the new challenge of Year 5 together.

We have many exciting things to look forward to over the coming academic year: some of us will be going to PGL; hopefully we will ALL be going to participate in Young Voices; we have some competitions in P.E. including netball and hockey plus a visit or two to the Leicester Outdoor Pursuit Centre. Oh and lots of great lessons, progress and learning of course!

In Maths we have been looking at place value.

History: Crime and Punishment

In History we have been learning about Crime and Punishment. In this lesson we had been learning about Roman times and we created our own Roman Curse Tablets out of clay!

In Science we have been investigating how to separate different materials...the rice, water and glitter was the trickiest!

In Science we have been investigating how to separate different materials as part of our learning about reversible and irreversible changes.

Eight of our amazing children took part in Health and Well being leadership training and will soon putting their new found skills to great use back at school
