Friday 11.12.20

11.12.20 Lesson 1 – RE

Today we are going to think about what we are thankful for. Have a look at the power point below and see if you can write a sentence about what you are thankful for.

11.12.20 Lesson 2 – Phonics

Today we are learning about alternative y. I thought we do something a little different today and watch an alphablocks video. Open the file and watch the video then complete the activities.

11.12.20 Lesson 3 – Science

Watch and complete the Oak Academy Lesson on: How can we record wind direction?

You will need your exercise book, a pencil and some colouring pencils or pens. For the experiment part of the lesson you will need a toilet roll tube, string, scissors, glue or sellotape and paper.

Read your own reading book or an E-book on the Oxford Owl website https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/for-school/oxford-owl-ebook-collection (free to sign up to and you can search for e-books within your own Book Band Level – If you need to know what colour your child is on send me a message).

We would love to see a video of your amazing reading, or you could draw a picture and write a sentence about your favourite part!
