Bishop Saju Visits Belgrave St. Peter's school.

Belgrave St Peter's C of E Primary school was delighted to welcome Bishop Saju at the end of the term to celebrate the schools 50th birthday.

Bishop Saju led the children in collective worship, and also held a group discussion allowing the pupils to ask questions on his journey into faith.

The Bishop commented that the school 'embodies the vision of faith, hope and love.'

Headteacher Courtney Ouriach commented "We had a lovely and inspiring visit from Bishop Saju yesterday at Belgrave St. Peter's Church of England Primary School! Bishop Saju led our school family in collective worship, spoke with a group of pupils who were chosen to ask him questions, and had a school tour from Year 6 pupils. The Bishop's visit ended with him planting a tree to mark the start of our 50th birthday celebrations! The tree will eventually be part of our new sensory garden. His visit allowed us to reflect on a very busy and successful term and to be excited for the terms to come!"
