Belgrave St Peter’s Church runs a Community Cupboard at the Tom Hoskins pub on Beaumanor Road.

They collect surplus food from Aldi supermarket and make it freely available to all every Monday from 1:30pm-2:30pm.

There is normally a selection of fruit and vegetables, baked goods as well as tinned goods and flowers. Some of the produce is at its best before date, but is still useable or can be frozen. Some of the food has damaged packaging but is still useable.

Everyone is welcome to come and reduce food waste as well as receive free food.
